The Extended Play Elvis Presley (again under the generic name of Elvis) was published in June 1956.
This time, the EP was made up of two new songs (the great Lawdy Miss Clawdy and the intense Shake Rattle And Roll) along with two songs recorded on the Sun Label and that all and being published previously, made their appearance for the first time on an EP.
Commercially, being able to have two new songs made sales much better than previous releases, achieving the gold record awarded by the RIAA that it still holds today.
