The EP "Elvis Vol.2" was released in October 1956, and contained 4 songs from the LP "Elvis". Despite the duplicity of themes and releases, commercially it was a sales success.
The (EP) "Elvis Vol.2" reached number 47 on the Billboard charts, initially selling over 400,000 copies. Currently this EP is listed as a gold record by the RIAA.
