Vol.1 of the "Loving You" EP was published in June 1957. It contained 4 songs from the LP of the same title. Among the four songs was the main title of the film as well as the title of his recent hit single "Teddy Bear".
Commercially, perhaps due to this fact, the EP reached number 1 on the Billboard charts, and initially exceeded 500,000 copies. Currently the EP "Loving You vol.1" is listed as gold by the RIAA.
