ELVIS. The king of rock'n'roll's debut album
On November 18 this year, a new book by Peter Guralnick - historian, music critic and, above all, the author of best-selling publications on Elvis Presley, "Last Train To Memphis" and "Careless Love" will be available for sale.
The latest release will be eighty-eight pages long (hardcover) and will be entirely devoted to the first full-length album of the king of rock'n'roll. In the pages of his book, the author will describe each song derived from it and explain why 1956 was such a breakthrough for Presley's further career.
Rare and interesting photos from this period will serve as an illustration for the above publication. Mostly taken by the legendary photographer Alfred Wertheimer.
The book will be accompanied by a CD with songs from the original LP "Elvis Presley" will also include the most important recordings of Presley from 1956. All songs for the album were selected by Peter Guralnick.
