Information:
The "Jailhouse Rock" EP was released in October 1957. We are looking at the soundtrack of the movie with the same title that Elvis made for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. The recording sessions took place at Radio Recorders in Hollywood between the months of April and May 1957.
Magnificent EP, the quality of the songs is very good where practically all the compositions (except one) came from the Leiber&Stoller tandem. Commercially, sales exceeded one million copies and on Billboard charts, how could it be otherwise, ranked number 1. Currently "Jailhouse Rock EP" is listed as double platinum.
