The consecration of the formula to make millionaire box office with Elvis films came thanks to this film.
The combination was masterful: Elvis, songs, beautiful girls and paradisiacal settings. A cocktail that caused Blue Hawaii to become one of the most financially successful film works of the singer's entire career, in addition to providing an excellent soundtrack that would not only be one of the best-selling albums in Elvis's career. Presley but also one of the best sellers in the entire decade of the sixties.
Highlight the participation in the film of the "rookie witch" Angela Lansbury, a Hollywood legend in the role of Elvis's mother, despite being only ten years older than Tupelo in real life.
