Information
The album, It Happened At The World's Fair, was released in April 1963, being the first album of that year for Elvis and again a soundtrack to the Metro Goldwin-Mayer movie.
Elvis's career and the soundtracks practically covered the recording needs of his contract with RCA and increasingly distanced him from being able to carry out other more enriching projects.
All and this still success was frequent. It is this album that concerns us, and which was recorded at Radio Recorders in Hollywood between August and September 1962, we can find frankly forgettable songs and others highly recommended such as the compositions of Don Robertson (They Remind Me Too Much Of You or I' m Falling In love Tonight ) or the hit single by Otis Blackwell and Windfield Scott ( One Broken Heart For Sale ) which also appeared on the album.
Sales of this album were lower than previous releases (over 300,000 copies) and it reached number 4 on the Billboard charts.
